Minimum Education:
    •BSc, BCom or BTech in Computer Science, Software Engineering,Information Technology or related technology discipline.
    •BA – FTI Diploma preferential

Required Experience:
•3- 5 years + as a Business Analyst with extensive experience on multiple software development projects.
•Preferably in a banking, insurance & telecoms industry with a working knowledge of collections activities, processes and strategies.
3-5 years + experience in the formulation of use case narratives and user stories
•3-5 years + working experience with modelling languages such as UML, BPMN and IDEF0.
•Experience in SDLC methodologies such AGILE (SCRUM), Scaled AGILE, DAD, RUP , Waterfall
•Advanced knowledge of the BABOK
Role Overview:

Prioritization of requirements, and the documentation thereof in a manner that is comprehensive enough to reflect understanding of business requirements while at the same time concise enough to be used as input into architecture and design decisions, while assisting in the formulation of test cases are skills that greatly enhance the analysis experience.
Significant experience in iterative methodologies could well be the deal clincher.
Responsibilities:
STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT
•Facilitate discussion with business stakeholders to identify Business needs / opportunities
•Compile business cases and where needed trace the benefit realisation
•Stakeholder management across all levels of the customer organisation

SCOPE MANAGEMENT
•Ability to facilitate scope definition with multiple stakeholders.
•Ability to document scope in the most appropriate format for the client.
•Ability to document changes to scope and to articulate scope change impact in terms of BA deliverables.

REQUIREMENTS GATHERING
•Workshop facilitation: Conduct JAD Sessions, group workshops with 5+ or one- on- one interviews
•Questions and challenges to ensure appropriate problem definition
•Elicit analyse, communicate and validate requirements
•Model processes according to new / To Be requirements and / or historic /current / As Is information.
•Conduct systems, processes, risk and root cause analysis
•Formulate specification artefacts (URS, BRS, Functional, Non Functional Specifications) that are in alignment with business strategy and that are comprehensive enough for user signoff, yet concise enough for input into the solution architecture and design disciplines

PLANNING
•Plan own work and that of an associate analyst.
•Define the parameters required for deliverable completion.

QUALITY ASSURANCE
•Provide input in test case strategy,
•Assist in the formulation of test cases and
•Participate user acceptance testing where required
•Mentor associate analysts

USER TRAINING AND DOCUMENTATION
•Provide basic training to system end users where required
•Provide information and assist in creation of training material
